Arrive Prepared
BerthReady turns your boat, berth, wind, current, and crew inputs into a calm, structured pre-berthing briefing.
Docking decisions become harder when conditions, crew roles, line preparation, and the abort route are all competing for attention. BerthReady brings those details together before the final approach, so the plan is easier to understand and easier to brief.
Plan Around Your Boat
Create a reusable boat profile with the handling characteristics that matter during close-quarters manoeuvring, including vessel type, length, propulsion, prop walk, thrusters, windage, and stopping response.
Save the Berths You Use
Store berth location and dock geometry once, then reuse them for future plans. BerthReady interprets forecast conditions relative to the selected dock instead of showing wind and current as isolated numbers.
Understand the Conditions
Request wind data from Apple Weather and marine current estimates from Open-Meteo, review when the information was updated, see its source and confidence, and confirm conditions locally before using them in a plan.
Compare the Next 24 Hours
Review forecast intervals side by side with wind, gusts, dock-relative effects, and cautious Low, Elevated, or High classifications. Choose a more manageable forecast interval and build a plan for that time without presenting any interval as guaranteed or perfectly safe.
Brief the Crew
Turn the plan into a concise crew briefing covering fenders, lines, roles, approach order, early abort triggers, and an alternative plan. Share the briefing before manoeuvring so everyone understands their role.
Keep an Exit Open
Every plan keeps the abort route visible. BerthReady is designed around preparation, conservative decision-making, and reassessment—not false certainty.
