Private by design.

ChronoKeep is built so your watch collection stays yours. This policy explains, plainly, what stays on your device, what small amount of purchase data is handled by others, and what we never do.

Last updated: 08.12.2026

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

Everything about your collection lives on your iPhone: your watches, photos, box & papers, receipts, wear history, service records, accuracy logs, values, insurance details, and notes. This information is stored locally on your device.

We do not run a server, and your collection is never uploaded to us. We — the developer — cannot see your watches, your photos, or your documents.

ICLOUD SYNC

If you use iCloud, ChronoKeep keeps your collection in sync across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud database. This data is tied to your Apple ID and handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your private iCloud data. If you prefer, you can turn iCloud off for ChronoKeep in your device settings, and your data will remain only on that device.

PURCHASES

ChronoKeep unlocks with a purchase. To sell and manage that purchase, two services process a limited amount of purchase-related data — never your collection:

Apple. Payments are processed by the App Store. Apple handles your payment and receipt under Apple's own privacy policy. We never receive your card or payment details.

RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and unlocks. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier, your purchase history, and basic device information (such as device model, operating system, and country) so it can confirm what you've unlocked. RevenueCat does not receive any part of your watch collection. Its handling is governed by the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

PHOTOS

When you add a photo of a watch or a document, ChronoKeep only accesses the specific images you choose through the system photo picker. Those images are stored with your collection on your device (and your private iCloud, if enabled). They are not sent to us.

NOTIFICATIONS

Reminders for service, warranty, and insurance dates are scheduled locally on your device. They are created and delivered on-device; no reminder data leaves your iPhone to reach us.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

  • No accounts. You never create a login to use ChronoKeep.

  • No ads, and no advertising SDKs.

  • No selling or sharing of your information for marketing.

  • No market-data tracking, and no profiling of you or your collection.

YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS

Because your collection lives on your device and in your private iCloud, you control it directly. You can edit or delete any entry, turn off iCloud sync, or remove all data by deleting the app and its iCloud data.

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. For the limited purchase data described above, contact us and we will help you exercise those rights, or you can contact Apple or RevenueCat directly.

CHILDREN

ChronoKeep is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

CHANGES

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
