Help & answers.
A quiet, private home for your watch collection. Here's how it works, and how to reach us if something isn't right.
YOUR DATA & PRIVACY
Where is my collection stored?
On your iPhone. Your watches, photos, documents, and history live on your device, and — if you use iCloud — sync privately across your own Apple devices. We have no server and can't see your collection.
Do I need an account?
No. ChronoKeep has no login and no account. You can start adding watches right away.
SYNC & BACKUP
How do I see my collection on another device?
Sign in to the same Apple ID on both devices and make sure iCloud is enabled for ChronoKeep in Settings. Your collection then syncs automatically through your private iCloud.
My watches aren't showing on my other device.
Try these, in order:
-
Confirm both devices use the same Apple ID.
-
In Settings, check that iCloud (and iCloud Drive) is on for ChronoKeep.
-
Make sure both devices have a network connection; sync can take a moment.
-
Open ChronoKeep on both devices and leave it in the foreground briefly.
Will I lose my data if I delete the app?
If iCloud is on, your collection is kept in your private iCloud and can return when you reinstall and sign in. If iCloud is off, data lives only on that device and is removed with the app. We recommend keeping iCloud on.
FEATURES
How does "Needs Winding" work?
For automatic and manual watches, ChronoKeep counts the hours since you last wore or wound each piece and compares that to its power reserve. When a watch is close to stopping it shows "Running low"; once past its reserve it shows "Stopped." Tap Wind to reset it.
How is "Wear Today" chosen?
It suggests the watch you've worn least recently, so your rotation stays fair and every piece gets time on the wrist. Tap Wear today to log it.
How do reminders work?
ChronoKeep gathers upcoming service, warranty, and insurance dates into "Coming Up." With reminders enabled, a notification arrives before each date — and seven days ahead — so nothing slips by. You can turn reminders on in Settings (this requires notification permission).
How do I keep box, papers & receipts?
Open a watch and use the Provenance section to add a photo for the box, papers, warranty card, and receipt. When all four are in, the watch is marked a "full set."
How do I export an insurance PDF?
Open a watch, then choose Export insurance PDF in the Insurance section — or export your whole collection from Settings. The PDF includes photos, values, references, and provenance, and is generated privately on your device.
PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings inside ChronoKeep and tap Restore purchases. As long as you're signed in with the Apple ID used to buy, your unlock returns.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions to change or cancel. A lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel.
I bought on one device — do I need to buy again?
No. Use Restore purchases on your other devices with the same Apple ID.
