User-Provided Data: Account information (such as your name and email address) when you register.
Apiary & Media Data: Photos of your hives, inspection notes, and apiary details uploaded for AI analysis and record-keeping.
Location Data: With your explicit consent, we access your device’s precise or coarse location to provide local weather context and map your apiary sites.
Usage & Diagnostics Data: Anonymous crash logs, performance data, and app interaction metrics to help us fix bugs and improve the UIKit/Swift architecture of the app.

3. How We Use Your Data Your data is used strictly to accomplish tasks relevant to the core functionality of HiveSight:

To process and analyze hive images using our AI models.
To synchronize your inspection logs across your Apple devices.
To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

4. Sharing Data with Third Parties We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting or crash analytics platforms) solely to operate our app. We guarantee that any third party with whom we share user data provides the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this policy, in compliance with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines.

5. Data Retention and Deletion We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the app's services.

Data Deletion: You may request the complete deletion of your personal data and account at any time by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the HiveSight app, or by contacting us directly at our support email. Upon request, all personal data will be permanently erased from our active servers within 30 days.

6. User Consent and Revocation We only collect your data with your consent. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

You can revoke camera, photo library, and location permissions via your device’s iOS Settings > HiveSight.
If we implement tracking across other companies' apps or websites in the future, we will request your permission via Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework. You can manage these preferences in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
