How does the AI disease detection work? HiveSight uses on-device and cloud-based machine learning models to analyze the photos you take of your frames. For the best results, ensure your photos are well-lit and in focus.

Do I need an internet connection at the apiary? Core features, including logging your hive inspections and saving offline notes, work entirely without an internet connection. AI image analysis may require a connection depending on your device, and data will sync automatically once you are back online.

How do I delete my data or account? You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated apiary data directly within the app by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account.

Can I export my hive inspection logs? Yes. You can export your data in CSV format from the Settings menu to keep your own backups or share them with other beekeepers.
Troubleshooting

The app crashes when opening the camera: Please ensure you have granted HiveSight permission to access your camera in your iPhone's Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.

Location services aren't working: HiveSight uses your location to provide accurate local weather and log apiary sites. Check that location permissions are enabled under Settings > HiveSight > Location.
