Pointe Pair is built so a dancer's shoes, sessions, and notes stay theirs. This policy explains, plainly, what stays on the device, the little that others handle, and what we never do.

What stays on your device
Everything in Pointe Pair lives on your iPhone: your pairs, photos, fitting profiles, sessions and hours, condition notes, dancer labels, and any prices you enter. This information is stored locally on your device.
We do not run a server, and your data is never uploaded to us. We — the developer — cannot see your shoes, your photos, or your notes.
No account
Pointe Pair has no sign-up and no login. You never create an account, and we never ask for a name, email, or phone number to use the app.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn it on, Pointe Pair keeps your data in sync across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud database, tied to your Apple ID and handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it. When iCloud is off, everything stays only on that device.
Photos
When you add a photo of a pair or a shoe's condition, Pointe Pair only accesses the specific images you choose through the system photo picker. Those images are stored with your data on your device (and your private iCloud, if enabled). They are not sent to us.
Notifications & Live Activity
Reminders (for example, when a pair has finished drying) and the on-screen session timer are created and shown on your device. No reminder or timer data leaves your iPhone to reach us.
What we don't do

• No accounts, and no personal details required.

• No ads, and no advertising or analytics SDKs.

• No selling or sharing of your information.

• No tracking of you across apps or websites.

Pointe Pair is used by dancers of many ages, including minors. Because it has no account and collects no personal data, it is designed to be safe to use without sharing anything about yourself.
Your choices & rights
Because your data lives on your device and in your private iCloud, you control it directly. You can edit or delete any entry, turn off iCloud sync, or remove everything with "Delete all data" in Settings or by deleting the app.
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we hold none of your data, you exercise these rights directly on your device.
Children
Pointe Pair is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. It requires no account and no personal details.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
